Marquette University owns a small CT scanner that is used for research purposes. When they needed a new control system for the scanner, Marquette University's Biomedical Engineering department turned to Sentient Revolution. Utilizing National Instruments motion control products and vision products we designed and implemented a LabVIEW-based system that controlled the movements of the scanner as well as acquired image data from an image intensifier via a GigE camera.
